On September 6th, 2018, Botham’s life was tragically cut short when he was shot and killed in his own home by an off-duty police officer who claimed she mistakenly entered his apartment believing it to be hers. However, despite his short life, Botham’s bright light shines on in the lives of all those who knew him, as well as in the communities he served.
